Roseate Hotels plans to expand abroad, locally

Bird Group plans new hotels in overseas destinations such as Dubai and the UK, as well as domestic locations such as Jaipur and Goa under luxury brand Roseate Hotels & Resorts.

The luxury hospitality brand, which started operations three years ago and currently owns and operates all its hotels, is also considering entering into new management contracts to expand further and plans to launch separate standalone outlets of its inhouse food brands like Roasted and Mithai By Roseate, said Ankur Bhatia, executive director of Bird Group.

“We are in extensive talks to launch hotels in the UK and Dubai. While both the new hotels in Dubai and the UK will be owned and managed by us, we are in talks with hotel owners for new management opportunities in other emirates and in Indian locations like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, North Goa, Kolkata and Chennai,” said Bhatia.

He said Bird is looking at taking its inhouse Mithai by Roseate brand overseas and will launch standalone outlets for its all-day patisserie brand Roasted. As a brand extension, the company will also look at retailing products of its in-house spa and wellness brand Aheli Spa Wellness.

Currently, Roseate owns six properties, three each in India and the UK.
