Mumbai, April, 2024 – Saffron, the renowned Indian specialty restaurant at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, is pleased to announce an exclusive culinary pop - up featuring Aaleeshan from JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa. From 31st to 2nd June, 2024, patrons are invited to surrender to the gastronomic temptations of rich Awadhi cuisine, presented by the esteemed Chef Riyaz Ahmed.

Aaleeshan, celebrated for its magnificent Awadhi dining experiences, brings the royal flavors of Lucknow to Mumbai in this limited - time event. Chef Riyaz Ahmed, the culinary maestro behind Aaleeshan, will be gracing Saffron’s kitchen, crafting a menu that promises to transport diners to the opulent courts of the Awadhi Nawabs.

Awadhi cuisine, known for its intricate cooking techniques and use of aromatic spices, offers a rich tapestry of flavors that reflect the grandeur of Indian culinary heritage. The pop up will feature signature dishes such as Murgh Shikhampuri, Butter Kalimiri Pomfret, Tandoori Salmon, Dahi Anjeer Ki Shikhampuri, Nalli Nihari, Paneer Labadar, Guchhi Dum Biryani, and Kathal Ki Haleem, each prepared to showcase the delicate balance of spices and slow cooking methods that define Awadhi cuisine.

History plays a substantial role in the experience offered by Aaleeshan, with some of the recipes dating back over a century. Chef Riyaz Ahmed aims to tell a story with every flavor he offers and each dish is crafted to be cinematic enough to evoke memories for all guests.
