August 2021 Mumbai: Sahara Star, the flag Ship Hotel of Sahara India Parivar, has successfully completed a vaccination drive for all its team members. Whilst the impact of a pandemic, the hotel industry has to become accustomed but what hasn’t changed is their commitment to serve guests with safety and the utmost care, keeping their team members and guests health as a priority.
Thanks to the meticulous planning of Sahara Star’s Human resource team a vaccination drive was organised in association with KJ Somaiya College of Physiotherapy in continuation to their safety program “Safe Me Safe We” for team members.
Creatively designed posters appraising the significance of the Vaccination were put up across all checkpoints of the Hotel. Keeping in mind the wellbeing, one day leave was given to Team members who got vaccinated for the next day. The entire expenses for Covid-19 Vaccination were borne by the Hotel as they firmly believe that corporate social responsibility starts from Home.
On this occasion, Manish Sodhi, CEO, Sahara Hospitality Ltd. Said, “As tourism has started to gain momentum it was imperative for us to safeguard our team members and guests. Our Safe Me Safe We campaign was initiated with a reason to maintain the health and hygiene of our team members who are truly committed in providing their best towards our guests. This vaccination drive would guarantee all team members are safe and will create a sense of confidence in our guests patronizing us during these tough times. It was our way to thank all our team members for their pledge and service towards the organisation.
