Sayaji Pune X Dazzle Dust hosts ‘Womenspire’ – A Panel Discussion to mark International Women’s Day

Sayaji Pune celebrated International Women’s Day 2020 for a noble cause 

Pune, 12 March 2020: Sayaji Pune in association with Dazzle Dust held a panel discussion – ‘Womenspire’ to commemorate this International Women’s Day (IWD) on 7 March 2020. With the IWD theme being #IamGenderEquality and #SheFor, Her, female achievers from around Pune took part in this discussion and highlighted how gender should never stand in the way of success and why women should support and help each other to grow in every field irrespective of their age, creed and culture.

The panellist for the event were Irisha Poonawalla, Founder of I.O. – Irisha Originals, Sonia Agarwal Konjeti, Founder, PULA Ladies, Pallavi Kaushik, Mrs Universe Devoted 2017, Kavita Kalikar, Director, Ognibene India and Aradhana Sharma, Indian Model, Dancer, Actress. The whole event was curated and moderated by Chahat Dalal, Indian fashionista and founder of Dazzle Dust which is a Fashion, Grooming, Model Management Company. The occasion was graced by the crème de la crème of Pune like Smita Patil, DCP, PMC, Dr Sunita More, Rashmi Dalal, Nilufer Poonawalla, Prajakta Alberquque and Janet Agarwal.

‘Womenspire’ – the panel discussion with these successful five focused on their inspirational stories. All of them spoke about their journey on how they succeeded in life after dealing with problems, discrimination, hardships, etc. and still managed to reach greater heights through hard work and determination. This discussion focused on work-life balance, multi-tasking good or bad and role of mental health in one women’s life. A bevvy of women from the audience also shared their personal experiences, which also served as motivation and inspiration to other women in the audience.

Following the session, Sayaji Pune celebrated this International Women’s Day by also hosting a fundraising effort to support the specially-abled girls of Veruschka Foundation, an NGO that provides sustainable livelihood opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. The super-talented children of the foundation curated a special menu that was served to the entire guests. Not only this, but the curated food was also served at TurQue, the fine-dine restaurant at Sayaji Pune for the evening. All the proceedings acquired by these lip-smacking delicacies throughout the fundraiser night were donated to Veruschka Foundation which will then be put into use for a better and secured future of these children. 

Hence, Womenspire held at Sayaji Pune in association with Dazzle Dust for this International Women’s Day was an excellent opportunity for women all over Pune to come together and celebrate being women.
