About Sharma and The Besharams:
1. Vasuda Sharma (Vocals & Uke)
Sharma is a singer-songwriter who started her musical journey with the pop band Aasma and later ventured into the indie scene releasing her solo debut folk- fusion Album - “Attuned Spirits” featuring over 30 musicians from all across the globe. She is also one of India’s few one woman electro-acoustic live looping artist and loves to experiment with different genres of music.
2. Rahul Hariharan (Drums)
To most people, Rahul Hariharan is the drummer for Bhayanak Maut and co-founder of ‘That Studio’ in Mumbai. He has played over 250 shows with BM, and countless more with acts like The Raghu Dixit Project, The Rubber Band (for
TVshow ‘Movers and Shakers’) and The Bombay Metal Project, among many others.
3. Chirayu Vedekar (Bass)
Bombay boy handling all the low-end frequency business of the Vasuda’s band since September 2012, touring with them all over India. Chirayu is also a part of hard rock band Zedde and the Luke Kenny Mojo Jukebox.
4. Chaitanya Bhaidkar Official (Banjo)
Chaitanya is a Guitarist/Music Producer/Multi-String Instrumentalist from Mumbai, India. He started playing the Guitar since the age of 14 and then eventually picked up instruments like the banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. He used to play guitar for a band named "Daira" which is an Awadhi Progressive/Alternative Rock band. He likes being able to mould his playing style according to the genre of music and giving it his natural touch.
5. Jayakrishnan Unnithan (Keyboard)
JK is a keyboardist, music composer and educator based in Bombay. He hails from Kerala where he picked up carnatic violin and western classical piano at a young age. He has performed notably with Daksha Seth Dance Cooperation, Ranjit Barot, Gino Banks, Baiju Dharmajan, Sanjeev Thomas to name a few. He is also a pro-school faculty at the True School of Music, Bombay.
