A unique, energetic, musical experience, Toya Band is one of the most sought after Duo bands in Delhi and NCR. Having played across the length and breadth of the country, Festivals, Royal Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, etc. and all the while still being House band for Attitude Alive Gurgaon (2009 – 2013) and the Iconic Soi7 and Striker Food chain (2013 – 2019). The band is featured prominently and quite regularly on Page 3 of national newspapers. ‘Toya and Mimi’ hails from Mizoram, the land of peace and harmony, where every social gathering is graced with beautiful music, awesome singers and world-class musicians, from Sunday Schools in the Church to ‘Chapchar Kut’ the biggest festival in the state, which would turn into a memorable Musical concert by the evenings. This Unique duo is led by Mr. Toya himself, an IIT(K) alumni, who still pursued his passion for music and is very serious about the delivery. He plays the guitar and sings lead vocals, and is influenced by masters of the trade like Chet Atkins, George Benson, George Harrison, Paul Simon, David, Gilmour, Stevie Ray, Clapton, Hendrix, etc…

Mimi a.k.a. Nunpuii Vanchhawng, the lady with a contagious smile is on the Bass and Lead Vocals, she can sing anything since she is influenced by the greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Adele, etc., and she is as groovy on the bass.
