Sofitel Mumbai BKC appoints Akshay Sood as their new Director of Food & Beverage

Mumbai, 19th December 2019: Sofitel Mumbai BKC announced the appointment of Akshay Sood as the Director of Food & Beverage. He will be responsible for the entire F&B operations across the 5 restaurants and bars at the luxury property. In his new role, Akshay will be managing and executing events held at the hotel and assist clients in program planning and menu selection, wherever required.

As a proficient professional, Akshay comes with more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His role will also include overseeing the costs and control of food quality, ingredients to achieve customer satisfaction, the profitability of the outlets, business and development and ensuring the best gastronomy experience to the guests at the property.

With profound experience and knowledge in the F&B space, Akshay has been the driving force behind some of the popular luxury hotels in India. Prior to joining the Accor Group, he has been associated with The Westin Mumbai, JW Marriott Bengaluru, Kempinski Ambience Delhi and others which have helped him gain invaluable experience to master the nuances of the hospitality sector.
