Mumbai, 17th February, 2022: Sofitel Mumbai BKC – the flagship of Sofitel Hotels & Resorts in India – an Accor group, announced the appointment of Farshid Billimoria as their new Director of Revenue.
Farshid comes with nearly a decade of distinguished hospitality and software experience in Revenue Management and Reservations, with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from WelcomGroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal. In his role, Farshid will be responsible for driving top line revenue and market share through the implementation of strategic pricing and inventory controls for the hotel including, the food & beverage and banqueting areas. His role further involves supporting the Reservations team and working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to manage room business and online sales.
Farshid started his career with Accor in 2011 and due to his strong analytical skills and a positive attitude, he was appointed as the Cluster Revenue Manager for seven Accor hotels in Chennai within a short span. Prior to joining Sofitel Mumbai BKC, Farshid worked as the Director of Revenue at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach.

Besides driving strategies to achieve revenues, Farshid in his leisure time also enjoys cooking, baking and listening to music.
