Sofitel Mumbai BKC, the eminent property at Bandra Kurla Complex made its contribution to raise environmental awareness by celebrating “EARTH DAY” on 22nd April, 2022. Having been a propagator of conscious consumerism always, the brand has never let go of an opportunity to make a green statement ever. Sofitel Mumbai BKC believes in being a key change agent for positive environmental impact. On this day, Sofitel Mumbai BKC by means of collective and harmonious action, used the goodwill of the brand and its people to make a difference.

Among the many initiatives Sofitel Mumbai BKC undertook on this day, some were intensely noteworthy and highly appreciated. From each department of the Hotel, the staff led by example by taking worthwhile steps to save the environment. The garden area that is the pride of this property witnessed planting of various varieties of plants, emphasizing on the need to increase the green cover. The housekeeping staff was seen urging guests to reuse linen and recycle, besides also encouraging them to switch off the air conditioners and lights when leaving their rooms. The chefs were seen using organic herbs and vegetables that the Hotel has grown in its very own Kitchen Garden to prepare meals for the guests and the other staff were seen catering to the plants and ensuring that they are healthy.
