Sofitel Mumbai BKC Launches its Haute Croissanterie Menu

January 30 is celebrated as World Croissant Day and to mark the occasion, Sofitel hotels worldwide have launched their Haute Croissanterie offering. Inviting Sofitel chefs from around the world to reinvent the delicious French breakfast icon, the new concept will see 30 Sofitel properties across the globe launching Haute Croissanterie in their markets. The Sofitel collection is also reinterpreting this distinctive pastry at hotels worldwide as a part of the brand’s 60^th anniversary celebrations this year. These emblematic destinations will introduce their local creations named “cultural link” croissants, to represent Sofitel, defined by its logo that is a symbol of the bond that connects cultures around the world.

In Mumbai, Sofitel Mumbai BKC has created a memorable menu of Haute Croissanterie. Sweet options include Saffron Shrikhand Swirl, an extraordinary combination of Kashmiri saffron-infused hung curd and sugar; Red Twist, Mahabaleshwar’s best strawberries enrobed in flaky croissant; Rocher Pain-au-Suisse, golden pastry embracing layers of hazelnut praline and rich chocolate ganache. 

Those who prefer more savoury options can enjoy picks like Pur Beurre Tradition, the crown piece of perfection from the Haute Croissanterie offering, which appears on all 30 Sofitel hotel’s menus worldwide. Pure French Lescure butter is enveloped in every fold of flaky pastry for an indulgent treat. Other options include Peppery Paneer Affair, where the boldness of pepper meets the creaminess of paneer, all wrapped in a croissant; Butter-Chic Bite, a masterpiece of fusion, marrying the classic flavours of Indian butter chicken with classic French croissant; and Kebab Enchantment, chicken malai seekh kebab wrapped in buttery, flaky croissant. 

The Haute Croissanterie menu will be available ongoing at Sofitel Mumbai BKC, with chef ambassadors revealing new flavours, seasonally.
