Recipe: Bajra Khoya Modak

INGREDIENTS:- UNITS
Millet flour 02Cups
Khoya 50gms
Rice flour 01cups
Cardamom powder 1/4tsp
Butter 1/2cup
Milk 1cup
Saffron few thread
Milk maid 1/2cup
Pistacho for garnish
METHOD:-
Roast plain bajra with some butter on a medium to low flame until they become slightly brown.once cool,blend them to afine powder in a blender and add rice flour.
In a pan, combine hkoya,milkmaid,saffron and milk,and cook on a low flame.stir continuously until it boil.add the grined bajra flour and butter.continue cooking on amedicun flame until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.remove from flame and add cardamom powder.
Transfer the mixture into aplate and let it cool lightly.shape the mixture into modaks and serve.
While making the bajra modak, roast the flour on alow flame to avoid burning .
Garnish with pistacho and serve.
