Would it be World Chocolate Day without a chocolate fountain, overflowing with the finest origin chocolate made in-house at our micro-chocolate factory in Mahalaxmi. With the pitter-patter of rain outside, a warm, welcoming hot chocolate station at the pop-up will tug at your heartstrings. In addition to these exclusive World Chocolate Day experiential, visitors will also be able to indulge in La Folie’s selection of chocolate barks or chocolate slabs in 15 unique varieties, and La Folie's bean-to-bar collection.
For an even more unforgettable experience, don't miss the opportunity to join Chef Sanjana for a captivating masterclass at Cafe Fyole, located on the second floor of the East Zone, on the 8th of July. In an intimate, demo class helmed by Chef Sanjana personally, you will not only learn four incredible craft chocolate recipes but also understand the techniques, temperament and textures of bean-to-bar chocolate with Chef Sanjana’s unsurmountable knowledge of chocolate science.
In this masterclass, attendees will be able to experience and appreciate a delightful assortment of dishes made using the same chocolate that is made in-house at La Folie using some of the finest single-origin cacao from across the world. Some highlights of the masterclass include Single Origin Chocolate Brookie Pie with Salted Caramel, a heavenly fusion of a brownie and cookie, enriched with the rich flavours of single-origin chocolate, topped with luscious salted caramel. Kalamansi Olive Oil Chocolate Bonbon, an enticing bonbon with a tangy twist, featuring the vibrant notes of Kalamansi citrus, complemented by the velvety texture of olive oil-infused chocolate. Cocoa Nib Praline Hazelnut Spread on a Sourdough Tartine with Berries, Cremeux, Smoked Salt, Olive Dust, and Tommé Fromage, an artisanal creation that harmonizes the delicate balance of flavours. And to savour craft chocolate in its purest form, Chef Sanjana will demonstrate making Varanashi Farms Single Estate Nama Truffles.
In its constant efforts to give back to the society, La Folie is proud to announce that the proceeds from this exclusive masterclass event will be donated to Trishul, a Charitable Organization (Non-Profit) working towards building self-sustainable communities through skill development, education, and livelihood programs in urban slums and economically weak rural villages in India.
