Starbucks is offering $10 million for innovative ideas

Striving towards their mission Star Bucks Company with the commitment of the highest coffee quality in the world is now committed for providing the eco-friendly and safe environment. Starbucks launched a $10 million grant challenge to design cup that’s easier to recycle.

At Present coffee mugs which is being used by this coffee cafe giant is only 10% recyclable and it took near 20 years for such cups to decompose. About 6 million cups is being used by Starbucks every year. This giant coffee chain is working towards this from some time but they are not getting much luck.

Apart from this challenge company is conducting its 13th internal test on a cup with an inner lining made of plant fibre to see if can prevent hot liquid from leaking.
