At Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, the weekend will be dedicated to the art of self-expression and emotional regulation. During the three-day programme, guests will be introduced to daily-changing activities such as gentle sunrise yoga accompanied by soothing Maldivian soundscapes, invigorating cardio kickboxing sessions on the beach, Flower Essence Remedy-Making workshops exploring the therapeutic potential of nature’s delicate blooms, and Intuitive Dance Movement sessions designed to help holidaymakers unleash their creativity.

Nestled in the tranquil beauty of Sri Lanka, Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort will celebrate with the launch of an on-site herbal dispensary where medicinal herbs and organic produce from the resort’s own gardens will be used to prepare natural remedies drawing on the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine. Following the dispensary’s launch over World Wellness Weekend, the team will hold regular workshops where guests can learn to make herbal remedies and ointments in person or by tuning in online.

The highest resort in the Middle East, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, is offering healing in nature with a complimentary sunset yoga session led by resident Wellness Guru on a cliff-edge wellness terrace boasting breathtaking views of a canyon that gracefully curves through the mesmerising desert landscape. Afterwards, guests will be encouraged to find a moment to decompress in solitude and find joy in the quietude of existence.

Those seeking balance and harmony can also join the team at Anantara Chiang Mai Resort in Thailand’s misty north for complimentary guided yoga and Muay Thai on a manicured lawn overlooking the Ping River. During the day, wellness workshops hosted by Anantara Spa will focus on element rebalancing and finding relief from the Office Syndrome through movement, as well as offering special prices on signature treatments.

A pristine Malaysian resort popular with multigenerational families, Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is inviting guests and community to experience Dong Stick wellness therapy – a joyful and gentle practice that can be done by anyone, regardless of age or fitness level. This form of Qi Gong exercise uses a bamboo cane to support the body, enhance the flow of energy, promote agility, joint strength and flexibility, reduce stress and increase mental clarity and stability.

Recently opened in a renovated 13th-century Capuchin convent, Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel will be turning its 8th floor cabana overlooking the dazzling Mediterranean Sea into an alfresco aromatherapy lounge where resort guests can let go of the tension with a muscle-melting massage using fragrant essential oils, before relaxing with a pampering foot therapy and a healthy drink made with lemons and other fruit from the resort’s own garden.

Meanwhile, the stately Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam will expand its healthy breakfast options with a DIY juice bar specially set up for World Wellness Weekend. Using almond milk, coconut water and fruit or vegetable juice as a base, guests can experiment with a combination of local fruits, seasonal vegetables and nuts – as well as stirring in some spices for an extra kick – to create a delicious, nutrient-rich drink.

Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort & Villas is running a three-day program filled with wellness activities anchored on World Wellness Weekend's '5 Pillars' of Sleep, Nutrition, Movement, Mindfulness and Sense of Purpose. Offering tailored insights from our nutritionist and mindful sophrology for team members, as well as serene Hatcha yoga, invigorating Pranayama, and Aqua Tai Chi for guests, the event is designed to cultivate a holistic sense of well-being.

Elsewhere, guests can attend exclusive yoga and Pilates sessions hosted in collaboration with Dhyana Dubai at Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel; learn from celebrated wellness expert Dr Anil Singh who will be leading a complimentary group yoga session for guests at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas; and address any imbalance or stress with an Ayurveda masterclass at Anantara Kalutara Resort in Sri Lanka.

A multisensory oasis of wellness where guests can heal with comforting therapies that combine the elements of European spa with Asian wellness philosophy, Anantara Spa operates over 50 spas in more than 20 countries across Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Europe.

Anantara Spa’s holistic approach, which won the brand 13 top accolades in the World Spa Awards 2022, is centred on movement, nutrition, mindfulness and innovative technology, aligning perfectly with the five key pillars of World Wellness Weekend.
