Even in this Pandemic, Mumbai never misses out on making any of our festivals a special treat. What is a better way to celebrate the festival of colors with some traditional south delicacies.
For a limited period, Thangabali is introducing a very popular sweet dish from Karnataka called 'Bele Holige or Bele Obbattu' on their menu.
Bele Holig or Bele Obbattu are prepared using Chana Dal or Toor Dal and served during special occasions in Karnataka. It is essentially a sweet stuffing inside an outer cover of maida or rava, and rolled out and put on thetava.
The beautiful ambience with food served on lush green banana leaves and paintings depicting South Indian culture completes the vibe. Taking all the precautions this Holi season, Thangabali is all set to serve authentic south offerings.
