Kolkata, March 15, 2021: The Fatty Bao returns to Kolkata after a brief hiatus, albeit in an all-new avatar with a unique Pop-Up at Monkey Bar, Camac Street, Kolkata. The Fatty Bao’s inventive Asian fare and cool cocktails are now back in your city served up at the chilled-out and uber cool Monkey Bar, bringing together the best of two iconic restaurants’ offering in a one of its kind Pop-Up experience. What better way to kick off this experience than with ‘Curry Up Fatty’- a special menu comprising bowls of delicious, hearty curries from the streets of Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines, available from February 25 – March 28, 2021, for dine-in at Monkey Bar and delivery through Swiggy and Zomato. Pick from the Thai Green Curry with Lamb Meat Balls with spiced meatballs slow-cooked with green curry paste and coconut milk, or Gulai Ayam – the Indonesian aromatic, rich and spicy chicken curry with baby onions. With ample choices for all no matter what your dietary preference – the festival offers the famous Malacca Nyonya sweet and sour Curry Laksa with Seafood and for vegetarians – the Javanese Sayur Lodeh with Vegetables a curry with chayote, beans, eggplant, chili pepper and tofu. Pork lovers would thoroughly enjoy digging into the Pork Humba – braised pork belly with black bean, pineapple, red chili and soy, while those who prefer chicken can always opt for Ca Ri Ga – a thick Vietnamese chicken curry with potatoes, carrots and green peas.
