The Lalit has always raised the bar of culinary excellence at their restaurants through various initiatives. The group has hosted Michelin star chefs, was the first chain to launch food trucks, started to serve freshest organic food way before it became a fad, and regularly invites expat chefs to enhance the cultural & culinary experience of its team members.

Recently the group organized a cooking competition between all its women chefs that was judged by one of the most followed celebrity chefs, social media icon and co-founder of Diva, Chef Ritu Dalmia. further the spirit of creativity and innovation amongst young chefs.

“Chefs are the soul of a dining experience. Hospitality and vibe are important, but the heart of a dining experience is and always be the food,” said Chef Ritu Dalmia to encourage the young participants. “She also told them to maintain a work life balance – give your heart and soul, while in the kitchen, but same attention to family at home,” she added complementing the talented chefs of The Lalit on their culinary presentation.
