The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences has recently announced the appointment of Varun Chhibber as the General Manager of the hotel. Leading some of the finest hotels in the world, Varun joins the team with close to two decades of experience. In his new role, he will oversee the day to day operations along with the senior leadership team while creating bespoke experiences.

Varun was the General Manager of The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi where he worked with the team and took the hotel to outstanding heights. Under his leadership, the hotel transitioned into one of the most preferred MICE and Wedding destination in Delhi NCR. Early on in his career, Varun worked with various Oberoi properties across locations and also had a stint in Maldives where he worked with Velassaru Universal Resort, a luxury getaway on the beautiful island.

An alumnus of IHM Mumbai, Varun holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree along with a post-graduate diploma in hotel management from The Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development (OCLD).

On a personal side, Varun has travelled extensively which helps him understand his guests’ better, coming in from various cultures and backgrounds. Varun is also a sports enthusiast who loves to watch a game of cricket with his friends and get on the field to play football with his son.
