THE Park Bangalore Unveils Culinary Extravaganza with Chef Nilza Wangmo

Bangalore, India – THE Park Bangalore is set to host a captivating 6-day food pop-up in collaboration with the renowned Chef Nilza Wangmo. Recognized for her culinary prowess and honoured with the Nari Shakti Puraskar by the President of India in 2019, Chef Wangmo brings her expertise to "Alchi Kitchen x THE Park Bangalore," scheduled from December 5th to 10th, 2023, at Monsoon.

The pop-up that showcases Ladakhi cuisine, curated by the passionate food evangelist Yogita Uchil, will commence with a culinary demonstration on 5^th December’23. This demonstration will be an immersive experience with live cooking and an interactive session with Chef Nilza Wangmo, from 11:30 am to 02 pm. During the exposition, Chef Nilza Wangmo will not only showcase the cuisine but also discuss the ingredients and special cooking techniques used. This pop-up promises a unique fusion of flavours and a culinary experience for the people of Bangalore.

Ladakh is a region in northern India with a unique blend of cultural influences. The region between Tibet and the Indian subcontinent has a diverse culinary heritage and rich history. Ladakhi cuisine is a magnetic fusion of Tibetan, Indian, and Central Asian flavors, and each dish symbolizes a story of tradition, resilience, and adaptability in this terrain. Chef Nilza Wangmo, the custodian of Ladakhi food and owner of the all-women's restaurant Alchi Kitchen in Ladakh, has had the honor of serving Ladakhi cuisine to dignitaries, food enthusiasts, and travelers in the region.
