The Rainshower of Tatkal Tickets

Travelling by train will be a lot easier now. The tatkal tickets will soon increase. The railway official has arrested 60 agents who used illegal software to block the tatkal tickets. The RPF Director-General Arun Kumar has said that this cleaning operation of Railways will increase the availability of tatkal tickets and that too for long hours. 

The officials have informed that illegal software such as MAC, ANMS and Jaguar were used to bypass the IRCTC’s login and booking captcha and even the bank OTP to generate tickets. Therefore for a normal person, it took 2.55 mins to follow the procedure while for the agents it was just 1.48 mins. And in that small period, the genuine person misses his ticket. 

In the last two months, 60 agents have been arrested and after that, not a single ticket was booked through an illegal software. This software used to generate INR 50 to 100 crore annually which are now blocked.
