The Simple Brew: Craft coffee made Simple

Created with a vision to simplify craft coffee, The Simple Brew was born as the brainchild of a coffee enthusiast during the pandemic in early 2020. Apoorv Agarwal, the founder realised the real struggle to find the perfect brew without dealing with the complexities. To simplify freshly brewed coffee, the founder created a one stop shop for coffee concentrate that could make any kind of brew one ever wanted. The brand offers fresh smooth brews directly sourced from local plantations and roasters, made in-house using variety of beans from different plantations. Prepared with no preservatives or sugar, the brand ensures that the coffee remains vegan and is authentically pure. The coffee is crafted by hand with an incredible eye for details, each batch is measured under 50 litres, available in Single and Double brew.

The Simple Brew aims at filling still nascent specialty coffee space giving everyone access to good brewed coffee at home with the ease and convenience of instant coffee. The coffee is brewed in- house using only 100% Arabica coffee beans which is grounded to perfection and then meticulously steeped slowly to develop rich flavours with low acidity. The Simple Brew makes sure the brew tastes exactly how it is intended to be by using water that is de-mineralised and then re-mineralised to get perfect pH balance, creating that perfect brew. As simple as it sounds, The Simple Brew has an intense but smooth flavour that is mixed well with anything. The Simple Brew offers coffee, but better.

About Apoorv Agarwal

Lawyer by profession, Mumbai based Apoorv Agarwal is a creative head passionate about coffee, music and entertainment. Apoorv completed his law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, soon after which he started practicing corporate law for the next couple of years. After taking a break from his practices in 2017, in mid 2018 Apoorv started his own live entertainment and artist management business in partnership with his old school friend. His love and zeal for Indian music scene helped him curate, collaborate and organise shows all over country in association with some of the biggest names in the Indian independent space.

It was during the pandemic when Apoorv decided to try his hand at brewing coffee at home, he decided to dig deeper into his love for specialty coffee. While the world outside was filled with uncertainties, Apoorv was certain about creating magic through coffee brewing. As the pandemic progressed, The Simple Brew grew its strong consumer base. With constant support and confidence from friends and family, Apoorv went from owning one cold brew jug to owning 12, turning his passion into a business that started making sense. As a passionate entrepreneur, Apoorv promises to offer the ease-of-business in the growing consumer market with the luxury of pre brewed coffee concentrates.
