Guests will soon be able to savor a sophisticated six-course dinner inspired by Cantonese cuisine at the Maldives’ finest address on June 10 and June 13, 2024

Malé, The Maldives – April 29, 2024 – The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort is delighted to welcome Chan Chung Shing, Executive Chef from the recently reopened Yan Ting restaurant at The St. Regis Singapore, to its five-star property for an exclusive two-dinner chef collaboration on June 10 and June 13, 2024. The collaboration is set to bring guests on an opulent culinary journey inspired by Cantonese fine dining at Orientale while they enjoy an unrivaled luxury escape at the finest address in the Maldives.

Chef Chan is a seasoned culinary artisan with over two decades of experience in the realm of Cantonese cuisine. Growing up in Hong Kong, he developed a deep-rooted appreciation for the authentic flavors and meticulous preparation techniques of Cantonese cuisine through family meals at local restaurants. Enthralled by the elegant balance of ingredient simplicity and freshness, it sparked a desire in him to master the craft of traditional Cantonese fare. Now at the helm of Yan Ting, Chef Chan remains committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences rooted in the rich heritage of Cantonese cuisine.

Costing USD $195++ per person with an optional wine pairing, each dinner will be available for a maximum of 20 guests at Orientale where the hours of operation are from 7:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
