September 2023: A culinary journey like no other awaits you at Seasonal Tastes, Westin Gurgaon as they are all set to host an enchanting Vietnamese Food Festival, in association with the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, Vietnam. The festival, which would be conducted by Chef Phan Hoang Phuc Thinh and Chef Li Huynh, would kickstart on 10th September 2023, and would be available till 15th September 2023. A two day Vietnamese pop up on 16th and 17th September will take place at the newly launched The Red Brick Room at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and culinary heritage of Vietnam, this exclusive Food Festival will display two distinct gastronomic experiences, helmed by Chef Phan Hoang Phuc Thinh and Chef Li Huynh from JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa, Vietnam.

Chef Phan Hoang Phuc Thinh is one of the youngest Sous chefs at JW Marriott Phu Quoc. Having trained in various cuisines, it was only a few years ago that he decided to dedicate his craft to his native cuisine, showcasing the best of Vietnam through traditional and fusion dishes that he learned in his culinary journey. He is all set to bring this prowess to Gurugram and give India a taste of Vietnam.

Chef Li Huynh was born and raised in Quang Nam province. Almost a decade ago, he left college to pursue a career in culinary arts and enrolled in a culinary school in Da Nang city. Now with JW Marriott he has had the opportunity to serve the food of his childhood with great pride and that is what he is set to bring to Gurugram with the Vietnamese pop up at Seasonal Tastes.

Both the chefs have curated two individual menus, each inspired by their respective childhoods and the culture of Vietnam. The appetisers on the menus include options such as Vietnamese Rice Cake, Banana Flower Grilled Shrimp Salad, Grilled Squid with Sate Sauce, Fresh Spring Rolls, Grilled Seafood Papaya Salad, and succulent Grilled Goat Skewers.

The experience continues with an extensive menu of mains, including Roast Pork Belly with Vietnamese Herbs, Grilled Grouper Galangal Lemongrass. Roasted Chicken with Lemon leaf, Grilled Sea Bass in Banana Leaf, Shrimp in Salted Egg Sauce, Grilled Duck with Fermented Tofu, Phu Quoc Crab Fried Rice, Braised Pork Belly with Egg, Cobia Sweet and Sour Soup, as well as Stir-Fried Vermicelli with Crab meat.

Get ready to discover the authentic culture of Vietnam, right here in the city. The Vietnamese Food Festival is taking place at the Seasonal Tastes, starting from their Sunday Brunch on 10th September and going on till 15th September 2023, as part of lunch and dinner buffet. On 16th and 17th September the festival will shift to the newly launched The Red Brick Room at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa
