The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa install energy efficient EV charging stations

The hotel and resort with their EV Charging stations, in association with Tesco Charge Zone, strive for a greener tomorrow

June, 2023: With unceasing efforts for a better tomorrow and an aim to promote sustainability, The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi and The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa have collaborated with Tesco Charge Zone for the installation of EV charging stations for all its guests and employees. This initiative has been taken in order for the hotels to promote responsible holidaying and in alignment with the hotels continued efforts towards sustainability.

While on your way around the vast properties, one will be able to see the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, which aims to encourage usage of EVs and cause less pollution to the already contaminated environment. The stations include electric vehicle fast charging stations by Tesco Charge Zone with a 60kW DC C122-150 dual-gun fast charger that can charge two electric cars simultaneously with minimum 30kW for each charging gun.

The station, with its EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment), supplies electric energy for charging of electric vehicles of all categories which includes AC001 charger, DC001 Charger, C122-150 Charger, Standalone CCS2 Charger. Further on, it is compatible with all on-sale four-wheeler EVs in India, including the Mercedes-Benz EQS and EQC, Tata Tigor EV, Nexon EV Prime, Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona, Audi e-tron, BMW i4 and iX, and Mahindra XUV400.
