The Young Indians (YI), Kolkata Chapter, The Youth Wing of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) through their national conclave DBM (Dream, Believe, Magic!) hosted an exclusive session ‘The Next Unicorns’ with eminent business leaders from various fields on 29th April, 2022 at JW Marriott, Kolkata. The session included speakers like Namita Thapar, ED, Emcure Pharmaceuticals and Judge, Shark Tank India, Mayank Jalan, Chairman and MD, Keventer Agro Limited and Sagar Daryani, CEO and Co-Founder, Wow Momo.
India has seen businesses flourish, ideas emerge and the world around us change drastically in the last 5 years. While a few years ago Unicorn was just another term, today it is the 5 year target for every start-up in India. The speakers touched upon the topic of how these new age businesses run and what it takes to be the next Unicorn.
