The spirit of Easter is all about having a stomach as full as your heart! The Easter Specials, aka ‘Festa’, is curated by Master Chef Freny’s mother, Monica Fernandes, who the former draws all her culinary inspiration from! 

These specials will feature some of the most delicious dishes that will put you in an Easter Mood! A delicacy that is prepared by every east- Indian household is a Stuffed Roast Chicken. At Moner, this dish is prepared in the authentic East-Indian style with bacon, carrots, peas, almonds and raisins!

Vindaloo or as the East Indians call it Indyal, is a dish that originated from the Portuguese and means ‘cooked in wine’. Moner gives it their own little twist by using plum vinegar instead of wine, making it more East-Indian than Portuguese. Sounds like a meal you just can’t wait to dive into! 

End the meal on a decadent note with Fernandes Rocher, Chef Freny's version of an easter egg but with the goodness of Ferraro Rocher. It has been her favorite childhood treat and she wanted to give it her own twist. The rocher or the egg itself is chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline, and liquid salted caramel covered in chocolate hazelnut coating surrounded by a golden tuile that looks like an opened wrapper.

Celebrate Easter at Moner – Bistro and Dessert Bar and indulge in these scrumptious dishes with your loved ones. Festa, The East Indian specials, are available on Easter Sunday, April 17, for lunch and dinner, at Moner – Bistro and Dessert Bar.
