THSC and REACHA Unite to Empower Arunachal Pradesh's Youth 

Arunachal Pradesh: The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and its training partner REACHA (Research and Extension Association for Conservation Horticulture and Agro-forestry) have proudly launched the Home Stay Host Training Programme, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering 160 enthusiastic young individuals from the scenic region of Arunachal Pradesh.

The official launch ceremony took place at Indira Gandhi College, Tezu, Arunachal Pradesh, marking a significant milestone in the concerted effort to promote skill development and economic prosperity in the region.

This Home Stay Host Training Programme is the outcome of a remarkable collaboration between India Infoline Finance Limited (IIFL) Foundation, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) under the Ministry of Defence, Lohitpur Brigade, and Dao Division. Their shared vision is to uplift the lives of underprivileged youth and contribute to the prosperity of the region while simultaneously boosting tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.

The initiative aims to equip participants with essential hospitality skills, enabling them to offer warm and authentic hospitality experiences to tourists. As a result, it is expected to attract more tourists to the region, thereby boosting the local economy and providing new opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.

Through this partnership, THSC, REACHA, IIFL Foundation, NCC, Lohitpur Brigade, and Dao Division are demonstrating their commitment to fostering social and economic development in Arunachal Pradesh. This initiative not only strengthens the tourism sector but also empowers the youth of the region to build sustainable livelihoods.

Since inception in 2014, THSC has enrolled over 1.5 million and successfully certified over a million youth.
