‘Tis The Season To Go Seasonal: Smoke House Deli’s Brand-New Winter Menu

Long considered Impresario’s ode to the elegance of European food, Smoke House Deli is widely regarded as one of India’s favorite all-day delis, for reasons that become clear as soon as your bite into any of their signature dishes. Now, this season they’ve upped their (festive) game to create not just one, but three menus of winter fare made to chase away those chills! Prepared using local seafood, meats, and seasonal produce, the menus contain an exquisite mix of warming soups, flavorful mains and decadent desserts.

Curated by Chef Jaydeep Mukherjee, Brand Head at Smoke House Deli, the menu is divided into three iterations, with each one lasting ten days, it’s a month of delicious wintertime treats, coming to a Smoke House Deli near you!

The second menu of the season starts with a hearty Black Rajma and Poached egg Soup with Chilli lime salsa and a creamy Roasted Cauliflower Soup with Hazelnut Butter and Cauliflower tempura. To accompany, there’s the classic SHD Dips and Crisps, featuring a selection of freshly made dips and pates with marinated vegetables and crisps.

The mains feature a selection of homestyle pastas, risottos and more with the quintessential SHD twist, including the Winter Squash Gnocchi with Beurre Noisette and caramelised winter veggies, Riccotta and Chorizo Agnolotti with Brown Onion and Almond Butter, Green Pea Bara Saul Risotto with crispy shallots, picked red raddish and pea shoot, and the Potato Roesti with Creamed Spinach, Roasted Mushrooms and caramelised Fennel. Of course, there’s plenty of. meat to sink your teeth into, with the Sriracha Butter poached prawns with Pumpkin mash and wilted winter mustard saag, pan seared Halibut with Olive Tomato Vinaigrette and Ginger Taro puree and Thyme basted baby Pork tenderloin with Salsa Verde, roasted Mushrooms, Apple, Walnut and Chives.

Get a sweet finish to your meal with the Christmas Pudding with Salted Bourbon Butter, or Fig and Ginger cheesecake!
