New Delhi, 14th November 2019: Ushering in the spirit of good tidings and happiness, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity organized the good old cake mixing ceremony as part of its regular Sunday Brunch at Pluck. The cake mixing ceremony was followed by a special live Mercedes Benz Car painting act by Sangeeta Babani.
The environment was charged with pre-Christmas cheers and festive songs playing in the background. Guests were cheering enthusiastically and immersing themselves in the aromatic flavors of nuts, cherries, apples, apricots, dried ginger, and alcohol. Cake mixing was an intimate ceremony held in families, century ago symbolizing auspiciousness.
Chef Neeraj Tyagi, Director of Culinary Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity said, “This fun-filled day gave rise to the traditional cake mixing ceremony which involved everyone, especially the kids in an affair with an interesting medley of toxic fruits, nuts, dates, and raisins. The interactive session helped the culinary team share some quick tips and tricks to make the cake mixing more delectable.”
The talented chefs designed the lavish brunch at Pluck with a selection of appetizers, a range of live bites, and a delightful dessert section to bring guests a wide variety of gastronomic delights.
Following the Cake Mixing ritual, Pullman & Novotel New Delhi Aerocity will also be creating a Gingerbread house in the lobby from 1st December.
