From community service and skill development to tree plantation and cleanliness drives, #AkasaForGood mobilised over 300 Akasians to support the cities they serve, creating measurable impact across communities and public spaces. The initiative reflects Akasa Air’s belief that meaningful ESG efforts are most effective when they are employee-led and sustained through collaboration with communities on the ground.
A week of action, powered by Akasians
As part of #AkasaForGood, Akasa Air teams undertook a range of community initiatives, including cleanliness drives supporting the Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission, plantation and green-cover efforts with local partners, volunteering with schools, shelters, and elderly care homes, and teaching and mentoring programmes.

Across stations, teams identified priorities and partnered with community stakeholders to deliver hands-on support. The initiatives collectively resulted in:
Community outreach: Engagement with hundreds of beneficiaries, including children, elderly citizens, and underserved families, through distribution of essentials such as blankets, food, water, and learning materials, as well as volunteering support. Akasian teams interacted with over 150 children and 100 elderly individuals.
Environmental impact: Plantation of 100+ trees and saplings, along with cleanliness drives, contributing to greener, cleaner neighbourhoods across multiple cities.
Employee participation: 300+ Akasians volunteered time and effort, reinforcing a culture of ownership and responsibility at the station level.
Rooted in Akasa Air’s belief that its role extends far beyond connecting destinations, #AkasaForGood translated the airline’s people-first values into collective, on-ground action. The initiative reflects Akasa Air’s commitment to empathy, accountability, and responsible growth, while reinforcing its responsibility to create tangible impact within the communities it serves.
Building a culture of responsibility
#AkasaForGood is a core pillar of Akasa Air’s broader ESG framework, centred on responsible operations, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. The initiative reinforces the airline’s commitment to embedding ESG into its culture—where giving back is not an occasional activity, but a shared and sustained responsibility across the organisation.
As Akasa Air continues to expand its network, #AkasaForGood will remain a platform for Akasians to drive positive change, collectively, and with purpose.
