At the 17th Annual Convention of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), held in Srinagar, the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) collectively reaffirmed its strong and unwavering commitment to the revival and sustainable growth of tourism, travel and hospitality in Jammu & Kashmir.
Addressing the convention, Ajeet Bajaj, Vice Chairman, FAITH and President, ATOAI, stated that FAITH and its 11 member associations fully endorse and support the vision articulated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Omar Abdullah, for the sustainable development of the state’s diverse tourism offerings. He emphasised that FAITH remains committed to working closely with the J&K government and all relevant stakeholders to strengthen confidence in the destination and ensure inclusive, responsible and long-term growth of tourism in J&K.
Rajiv Mehra, General Secretary, FAITH, highlighted that all 11 national associations under the FAITH umbrella will engage in regular and structured collaboration with local tourism associations across the region. He noted that this partnership will focus on promoting standardisation, enhancing product awareness, strengthening skill development initiatives, and encouraging the development of offbeat and emerging destinations across J&K.
The convention was also attended by Ravi Gosain, President, IATO; Satish Sehrawat, President, ITTA; and Aashish Gupta, Consulting CEO, FAITH and several other senior tourism professionals . Together, they reaffirmed FAITH’s collective resolve to support the growth of a safe, sustainable and globally competitive tourism ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir.
