January 2026: Fattal Hotels Group is accelerating its expansion across Israel with a series of new hotel openings and major renovations planned through 2025 and 2026. The group’s growing portfolio spans boutique urban hotels, heritage restorations, and resort-style properties across Israel’s leading cultural, commercial, and coastal destinations, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s most prominent hospitality players.

The expansion reflects a clear focus on experience-led stays that blend architectural heritage with contemporary luxury, catering to leisure travellers, culture-driven visitors, and business travellers alike.

THE JAFFA_PUBLIC_SPACE

New Openings in 2025

In Haifa, Botanica has opened with 163 rooms and suites overlooking the Bahá’í Gardens. The hotel features a restaurant, lobby bar, conference facilities, swimming pool, rooftop terrace, and a luxury spa, complemented by an exclusive wine bar with panoramic views.

In the historic northern city of Tzfat, Canaan has debuted as a 119-room retreat designed around wellness and immersive travel. The property includes a restaurant, lobby bar, and wine bar, along with a forest-facing spa offering an indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas, hammam, yoga room, and fitness facilities, supported by meeting rooms and conference halls.

In Jaffa, The Jaffa continues to stand out as one of Tel Aviv’s landmark luxury hotels. Set within a meticulously restored 19th-century building, the 120-room property brings together historic architecture and contemporary sophistication, with an Italian restaurant, cocktail bar housed in a former chapel, outdoor pool, spa, fitness centre, and boutique meeting spaces, all within walking distance of Jaffa Port.

THE YACHT – Herzliya

Along Rothschild Boulevard, Rothschild 22 offers 152 rooms and suites in one of Tel Aviv’s most sought-after locations, delivering a refined urban stay at the heart of the city’s cultural and financial district.

Bachar House, a 26-room boutique hotel housed in a preserved 1922 building, adds an intimate luxury address to Tel Aviv’s hotel landscape, reflecting the city’s eclectic architectural heritage.

On Shenkin Street, Sam & Blondi occupies a restored 1930s building and features 45 rooms with European-inspired design, a rooftop terrace with sunbeds and an outdoor hot tub, and a boutique spa, capturing Tel Aviv’s creative energy.

In Jaffa, Bazaar has opened with 104 rooms in a historic Bauhaus building originally used as a sales exhibition hall during the British Mandate period. Inspired by the neighbouring Flea Market, the hotel features a large lobby bar and a rooftop offering views of the old city and the Mediterranean.

In Jerusalem, Nucha has opened with 87 rooms and suites, a restaurant, fitness centre, and a rooftop pool overlooking the Old City and Independence Garden.

Nordoy, originally established in 1925 on Nachalat Binyamin Street, has been reintroduced as a 26-room boutique hotel featuring a rooftop with city views and a spa set within the building’s historic dome, located close to Carmel Market and Tel Aviv’s beachfront.

At Dizengoff Square, Reception Tel Aviv adds 75 rooms, along with a rooftop pool, relaxed patio spaces, and the ‘Bel Ami’ restaurant by the Yarzin Group.

Opening in 2026

Scheduled to open in Tel Aviv, Palatin will be a 61-room luxury hotel featuring an elegant lobby and lounge, restaurant, bar, fitness facilities, spa, and a landscaped courtyard pool.

In Herzliya, The Yacht is set to open as a 327-room luxury waterfront hotel located on a peninsula surrounded by water. The property will feature two swimming pools, including a rooftop pool, along with a spa, lobby bar, outdoor restaurant, and parking facilities.

Renovations Across the Leonardo Portfolio

Alongside new openings, Fattal Hotels Group is undertaking extensive renovations across its Leonardo-branded properties. Leonardo Negev in Be’er Sheva is being developed as a mixed-use project spanning approximately 140,000 square metres, integrating hospitality, residential, office and commercial components.

At Leonardo Plaza Tiberias, upgrades include the reception lobby, restaurant, event halls, gym, spa, swimming pool, and kids’ and teens’ club. Leonardo Plaza Haifa has added 46 rooms, alongside renovated public spaces, conference facilities, business lounge, gym, spa, swimming pool, and children’s club.

In Leonardo Plaza City Tower, Ramat Gan, approximately 30 additional rooms have been created through the reconfiguration of suites, accompanied by upgrades to the lobby, meeting spaces, gym, spa, and swimming pool.
