National, 07 October 2025: Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, has refreshed its in-flight dining offerings by Café Akasa, its onboard meal service, for the third time, introducing a thoughtfully enhanced menu that balances health, indulgence, and innovation. Curated with great care, the new menu reflects Akasa’s continuous commitment to evolving with guests’ tastes and delivering a premium, café-like dining experience in the skies, while staying true to its promise of making every journey a delightful experience for every flyer.
Designed for today’s modern traveller, the refreshed Café Akasa menu features 45 thoughtfully curated meal options, embodying the balance they seek: health-conscious choices, all-day dining flexibility, indulgent treats, and global flavours. From cereal bowls to gourmet platters, protein-rich meals, and inventive fusions like Chicken schnitzel with Garlic Spinach, Tofu Kari Pan with Edamame, and Thai Spice Salad, Café Akasa is setting a new benchmark in in-flight dining.
Inclusivity remains central to Café Akasa’s philosophy. A fusion of global flavours and regional delights with industry-first options
Mirroring the airline’s vision of connecting India with the world, the new Café Akasa menu blends Indian, Asian and European influences with globally inspired dishes such as the Chicken Schnitzel, Thai Spice Chicken Salad, and Masala Beetroot Burger. For the very first time, multi-course gourmet meals like the Veg Fusion Gourmet Meal and Chicken Feast Gourmet Meal have been introduced featuring desserts with matcha.
The menu also features industry-first additions, including a Ready-to-Eat Cereal Bowl made from organically sourced ingredients, a takeaway friendly protein-boosting Combo Pack with a shake and bar.

Staying true to its focus on mindful eating, Café Akasa takes healthy dining a step further with a selection of superfood-inspired options, including those made with tofu, edamame, beetroot, and sesame, tailored to the needs of modern, health-conscious travellers.

Since launching operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has been committed to offering specially curated meal options that reflect regional specialties associated with various celebrations. From Makar Sankranti to Valentine’s Day, Holi, Eid, Mother’s Day, International Yoga Day, Monsoon season, Navroz, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, and Christmas, Café Akasa continues to enhance the flying experience with festive meals. The airline also offers a pre-selection of cakes on its regular menu for flyers who want to celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones in the sky.
Commitment to sustainability
As one of the greenest airlines in the world, Akasa Air’s efforts towards sustainability extend to Café Akasa as well. Packaging for all perishable meals is 100 per cent recyclable and made from paper, which is ethically sourced from sustainably grown crops. All packaging is manufactured without any bleach or other optical brightening agents (OBA) chemicals. The wooden cutlery onboard is also biodegradable. Moreover, passengers can pre-book their meals before flying with Café Akasa to avoid any wastage, as this allows all perishable meals to be accounted for.
