All India, October 7, 2025: The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) proudly announces the successful conclusion of the 2025 Jamaica Product Exchange (JAPEX), the island's premier tourism trade event. Held from September 22–24 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, JAPEX once again served as a dynamic trade event, connecting international buyers, tour operators, media and travel professionals with Jamaica’s diverse tourism sector, including hotels, attractions, and key partners.

A Platform for Growth and Partnership
Over the three days, JAPEX 2025 reinforced Jamaica's strong positioning in the global tourism market. The event was a vital platform for industry networking, showcasing the island’s rich portfolio of offerings—from luxury resorts and adventure experiences to cultural immersions and heritage attractions. The event’s theme, "Ready, Set, Go," served as a powerful call to action, communicating Jamaica’s eagerness to collaborate with global partners on strategies for future, sustainable growth.

“Jamaica is at the top of the region in terms of the growth rate since Covid, and that’s a story that we want to be told,” said Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism. “But that growth isn’t just about numbers. It’s about how tourism has built the capacity of our people to add value and enabled new experiences to emerge so that we can be more attractive, remain relevant to the world traveling community.”

Deepening Connections with the Indian Market
JAPEX 2025 saw engaged participation from key travel agents and media representative from India, who took part in high-level business sessions. For the Indian market specifically, the event provided a crucial opportunity to deepen connections with Jamaican partners and explore avenues to position the island as an aspirational long-haul destination.

Partnerships forged at JAPEX will focus on promoting Jamaica as the ideal location for leisure travel, weddings, honeymoons, and milestone celebrations for discerning Indian travellers. Delegates gained first-hand insights into the island's unique blend of sophistication, culture, and adventure.
