MUMBAI, India - Fresh off a historic year of growth, the Moroccan National Tourism Office (MNTO) has confirmed its participation in OTM 2026, scheduled for February 5–7 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, Mumbai. The announcement comes as Morocco, also called the ‘Kingdom of light’, welcomed a record-breaking 19.8 million global tourists, marking a 14% increase from the previous year and solidifying its position as Africa’s top destination.

While Morocco’s global trajectory remains robust, the Indian market has emerged as a standout success story. Indian arrivals have reached a significant milestone of 53,697 visitors, representing a 31% year-on-year growth and a staggering 224% increase compared to 2019 levels. This exceptional performance signals a definitive and enduring shift in preference among Indian travelers, who are increasingly choosing the ‘Kingdom of light’ for its unique blend of luxury and heritage.
