Oceania Cruises® announces new leadership in Asia with Fiona Chu and Dominic Tan as business development managers, and James Sitters as Director of Sales Asia Pacific

Oceania Cruises Revitalises Asia Sales Team for Market Leading Ultra Premium Cruise Line

Singapore, 29 November, 2024: Oceania Cruises® has appointed two new business development managers in Asia, as well as the promotion of a new Director of Sales Asia Pacific, charting a course for further ambitious growth in the region for the world’s leading culinary and destination-focused cruise line.

Fiona Chu spearheads business development in Hong Kong, with travel industry veteran, Dominic Tan, managing business development in Singapore. Meanwhile, Australian-based James Sitters, who has been with the ultra premium line for nearly eight years, formerly as Director of Sales Australia & New Zealand and Business Development Manager for QLD, WA, SA & NT, has been promoted to Director of Sales Asia Pacific.

Oceania Cruises’ Vice President of International Sales, Jason Worth, says: “We are delighted to announce our latest sales team appointments in the region, marking an evolution of our ultra premium cruise line in Asia.”

Fiona Chu Kit Yee graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s in social science, in 2018, before beginning her career in sales and marketing as an account manager at Procter & Gamble. Since 2022, Yee has since been working in the travel industry as a strategic account manager for Greater China with Agoda International – focused on one-stop digital marketing for six key global hotel chains in the region, while spearheading pioneering partnership campaigns with commercial banks and flight companies.

Yee is fluent in her native Cantonese as well as English and Putonghua.

“I look forward to nurturing key relationships with our travel advisors and building new partnerships in the next phase of Oceania Cruises’ growth in the region. I am delighted to be showcasing the line’s fleet of small, luxurious ships, The Finest Cuisine at Sea® and destination-rich itineraries,” Yee commented about the appointment.

Singaporean, Dominic Tan Sih Khong, is an accomplished business professional with over 15 years’ experience in Southeast Asian markets and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and spearheading market expansion initiatives.

As well as driving revenue growth and securing lucrative deals through intensive market research and data analysis, Khong has fostered strong partner relationships within the technology and HR sectors. His career in travel commenced in 2001, as a tour consultant for WTS Travel & Tours, followed by management stints with Asia~Euro Holidays, Five Stars Tours, M Asia Travel and Focal Travel.

More recently he was group business development manager, Indochina for Easybook.com, a leading travel tech business revolutionising leisure transport experiences across Southeast Asia – securing partnerships with over 400 leading transport operators and projects for several ferry operators, coach and railways in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

Khong’s has a diploma in tourism management from the Tourism Management Institute of Singapore – majoring in events management and operations – and speaks Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka and Cantonese, as well as English.
