This event will offer a unique opportunity to highlight the transformative power of creative tourism and the orange economy. Visionary leaders, experts, and delegates from five continents will gather to co-create sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative tourism ecosystems.
In the vibrant setting of Barcelona, the forum will serve as a strategic platform to position all types of destinations on the international stage, generate synergies, and collectively respond to new global paradigms.
This flagship event marks a decisive turning point in the context of a global paradigm shift, where tourism—far from being seen as a problem—must be consolidated as THE solution for virtuous, sustainable, and inclusive territorial development.
In this framework, the Creative Tourism Network® and its member destinations offer participants their expertise backed by over two decades of international leadership, providing concrete tools, a network of best practices that address current challenges, and promotional channels for destinations awarded the CreativeFriendlyDestination label.
The event’s practical, empirical, and promotional nature will allow destinations to share experiences, gain international visibility through the CreativeFriendlyDestination label, generate high-impact multimedia content, and actively contribute to the co-creation of a Magna Carta that will guide creative and orange tourism for decades to come.
Coinciding with the Mondiacult Congress organized by UNESCO, this event aligns with the human and cultural values promoted by the institution, positioning creative tourism as a model of sustainable, ethical, and regenerative tourism.
This event, supported by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, proposes a strategic link between creative and sustainable tourism initiatives developed in Catalonia and other projects around the world. The forum will foster dialogue, exchange of experiences, and the creation of lasting alliances between territories committed to virtuous tourism models.
Through this initiative, CTN reaffirms its commitment to tourism that empowers communities, preserves intangible heritage, and promotes intercultural dialogue, in full alignment with the principles of Mondiacult and the 2030 Agenda.
