He noted that in 2025 the country welcomed a record 64 million visitors and generated $65 billion in tourism revenue, reflecting its ability to offer a truly multi-layered travel experience — from the heritage of Göbeklitepe and the landscapes of Cappadocia to the vibrant lifestyle of Bodrum.
Ambassador H.E Ersoy emphasized the strong cultural affinity between Türkiye and India, stating that the relationship goes beyond trade and tourism, resting on shared values such as art, spirituality, craftsmanship, and hospitality. He highlighted the growing interest of Indian travelers in Türkiye, driven by a search not only for a holiday, but for meaningful experiences and stories. He also drew attention to Türkiye’s strong infrastructure, accessibility, and professional event management capacity, positioning the country as a leading destination for both leisure and business tourism.
Concluding his remarks, H.E Ersoy stressed that the partnership between the two ancient civilizations is evolving from simple visits to a deeper sense of connection, adding that Türkiye stands ready to build a new era of travel together.
