As part of an upskilling initiative, the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) in collaboration with VISA, felicitated trained candidates for successfully completing the curriculum in the Paragliding Ground Crew Chief job role. This unique training and certification effort is designed to strengthen the adventure tourism sector by equipping ground staff with the essential skills and formal recognition they deserve.
The Certificate Distribution Ceremony, organized by THSC’s training partner Samarpit Media Society, was held at Rainbow Hall, ITBP Camp, Dehradun. The event was graced by Mrs. Poonam Chand, Additional Secretary, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board (UTDB), and attended by Ms. Parnal Vats, Senior Manager, VISA, and Mr. Abhishek Anand, Vice President – Assessment & Certification, THSC.
The training program was made possible with the support of ITBP and BSF officials, to whom THSC extends its special thanks for their cooperation during both the training and the event.
