The airline has also consistently maintained a 7/7 safety rating by AirlineRatings since 2018, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to the highest safety standards on its vital India-Vietnam routes and across its extensive Asia-Pacific network.
Vietjet continues to feature alongside leading global low-cost carriers such as easyJet, Southwest Airlines and Ryanair in the top tier of safety rankings for multiple consecutive years. This sustained recognition underscores the airline’s strong operational discipline and focus on delivering safe, reliable journeys for millions of passengers worldwide, including a growing base of travellers from India.

AirlineRatings evaluates more than 320 airlines worldwide using a rigorous set of criteria, including incident data, fleet age, pilot training and international safety audits. This year, greater emphasis was also placed on turbulence prevention, along with other industry indicators. The platform has become one of the most trusted benchmarks in the global aviation industry.
Vietjet operates a modern, fuel-efficient fleet with a technical reliability rate of 99.72%, among the highest in the region. The airline holds IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certificate as well as ISAGO certification for ground operations safety.
