Vietjet Retains Its Position Among the World’s Safest Airlines for 2026

Mumbai, 16 January 2026 – Vietjet has once again been recognised by AirlineRatings, the world’s leading airline safety and product rating website, as one of the world’s safest airlines for 2026. The airline has also consistently maintained a 7/7 safety rating by AirlineRatings since 2018, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to the highest safety standards on its vital India-Vietnam routes and across its extensive Asia-Pacific network.

Vietjet continues to feature alongside leading global low-cost carriers such as easyJet, Southwest Airlines and Ryanair in the top tier of safety rankings for multiple consecutive years. This sustained recognition underscores the airline’s strong operational discipline and focus on delivering safe, reliable journeys for millions of passengers worldwide, including a growing base of travellers from India.
