Ushered in the festive season with a sparkling tree lighting ceremony at The Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort

This much-anticipated Christmas tree lighting tradition marks the start of the holidays. There’s something magical about gathering loved ones and watching the tree sparkling and light up for the first time each year.

To begin the magical festive celebration for a place many guests consider their second home, Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort invited Surya Udaya Charitable Trust’s kids to spread some joy and cheer during the Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The timeless symbol of the holidays: The Christmas tree, was lit up by the special kids with dazzling lights and adorned with Christmas ornaments.

Guests were also invited to discover the festive atmosphere in the Resort’s lobby. The tree lighting was followed by carol singing and an exclusive hi-tea experience for everyone. Winter and Christmas specials like Hot Chocolate, mulled wine, and plum cakes were served.

Christmas is the time to spread happiness by giving back to the community we live among the less fortunate. Our initiative has been much appreciated by our guests and colleagues and we hope to bring lots of smiles to the faces of these kids on Christmas. As a token of appreciation to the kids for joining the Tree lighting ceremony, our Santa surprised them with winter charms.
