The Maa Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu is very much close to the heart of billions of people in India and it is also one of the longest pilgrimage tours in India. As per the latest news reports, the central government of India has come up with a special initiative for all the devotees of Maa Vaishno Devi.
The government of India has planned to operate the fast-speed Vande Bharat Express on the Delhi-Katra route, the route was chosen by the Railway board in a move to capitalize on the high traffic volume on the route. Once the train is introduced between Delhi and Katra, the total travel time between Delhi and Katra will be cut short to just 8 hours.
Before giving a green flag to Vande Bharat, GM (Northern Railway) TP Singh will examine the whole route from Ambala to Katra to see whether or not the train can run at a speed of 130 KMPH at that particular route.
The Vande Bharat Express was successfully launched in the year 2018 to run from New Delhi to Varanasi, which is a parliamentary constituency of Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi as well. The Vande Bharat Express has been manufactured overseas at a cost of INR 100 crores.
