The housekeeping department manages several working processes that are united with one aim that is to ensure a positive impression of the hotel and help in establishing a reputation for the quality of cleanliness. Moreover, working in this field denotes working under extreme time pressure, delivering the highest possible quality, and, needless to say, it is hard physical work. At Indore Marriott Hotel, housekeeping associates would meet all long staying guests upon check-in and understand their preferences for room cleaning. This is to ensure that rooms are clean, without invading the privacy of the guest.
Housekeeping associates undergo regular training and this is to ensure that they are continuously delivering a clean and healthy environment for our valued guests.
We encourage our guest to participate in a linen reuse program, where we change the bed and bath linen every alternate day, thus contributing to conserving the environment Housekeeping is an operational department in a hotel, which is responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public area, back area and surroundings. We, at Indore Marriott Hotel, host a ‘town hall’ session every month, where we acknowledge and appreciate the efforts being initiated by the department. Additionally, we organize a ‘Take care Tuesday’ & ‘Fitness Friday’ every week as one of the activities to give a break to our hardworking associates.
