First of its kind, limited-edition chocolate bonbons infused with White Owl craft beer
June 15, Mumbai: With Father’s Day round the corner, White Owl in collaboration with La Folie Du Chocolat (LFDC) is offering an exclusive range of limited edition gourmet chocolates infused with its award-winning handcrafted beer. This first of its kind collaboration brings a unique twist in the premium handcrafted chocolates segment.
La Folie has always prided itself on continuously raising the stakes within the patisserie scene in India. With innovative style and undying passion for the origins of chocolate making, Chef Sanjana Patel creates whimsical novelties that taste, look, and smell unlike anything else. Chef Sanjana along with White Owl, has created an assortment of bonbons, infusing the three flavourful variants of White Owl beers – Orange and lime white chocolate ganache infused with Orange and lime Spark beer gel (Spark), Malt cocoa liquor caramel infused with Diablo beer and cocoa nib praline (Diablo), Spiced clove ganache infused with Apple fruit beer gel (Ace). These specially curated variants of classic bonbons with a hint of distinct Belgian Wit, Irish Red Ale and Apple Cider brings the best of both worlds making it an attractive gifting item for beer-loving dads.
The limited-edition beer bonbons are priced at Rs. 1095 (exclusive of taxes) for a box of 9. These can be purchased on June 15 and June 16 at La Folie Du Chocolat (Kala Ghoda), La Folie Lab (Bandra) and via Scootsy.

About La Folie

Sanjana Patel, Creative director and Executive Chef at La Folie, is currently responsible for production, operations and creative direction for the brands La Folie Du Chocolat and La Folie Lab. At an early age of 22 she started her career with an apprenticeship at Pierre Hermé and soon followed to become the first Indian chef to have worked in their laboratoire for assisting in recipe development. Upon winning the India Pastry Queen in 2015 and achieving a world ranking of 4th best female pastry chef in the World Pastry Queen Competition in 2016, she has achieved renowned success both nationally and internationally.
