OYO Hotels Japan had commenced operations in April 2019 through a joint venture with the SoftBank Group. The company also announced the appointment of Prasun Choudhary, an OYO founding member who has successfully launched a number of global OYO businesses, as the Operating Partner for OYO Hotels Japan.
