11th January, 2024 Bengaluru- Known for its exquisite Cantonese cuisine through constant innovation and the delicate dance of flavours, Yauatcha Bangalore has something new for wine lovers of the city! Yauatcha debuts its private wine Ivelle in Bangalore. Introduced in collaboration with Fratelli Wines, the spirit will be available at the Yauatcha outlet from the 6th of December savoured by the glass only at the restaurant.
Inspired by a French-origin word that means love, ‘Ivelle’ is a result of sheer dedication and the chase for quality. Combining the variety of the homegrown Müller and Gewürztraminer grapes, the white wine boasts notes of lychee, apricot, and pineapple that make it the perfect pair with the restaurant’s Chinese offerings.Authentic and classic, Ivelle is on its way to becoming a timeless addition to the carefully crafted menu at Yauatcha Bangalore. Manufactured on Indian Solapuri soil, each sip of Ivelle transports you to a rustic villa in the mountains. The resurgence of wine enthusiasts in the country has led to the creation of the first-ever private wine label to have been produced in India.
Presented after eight months of trials, Ivelle will now be served at Yauatcha’s Bengaluru outlet. “While profiling the flavours for Ivelle, we understood the similarities shared between the Indian and Chinese palettes. We wanted the wine to not only compliment our offerings at Yauatcha but also cater to Indian taste preferences. The Müller Thurgau grape, originally bred in Germany by Hermann Müller, is a cross of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, while the Gewürztraminer is more aromatic, creating the perfect balance.”
