Inspired by a French-origin word that means love, ‘Ivelle’ is a result of sheer dedication and the chase for quality. Combining the variety of the homegrown Müller and Gewürztraminer grapes, the white wine boasts notes of lycheeapricot, and pineapple that make it the perfect pair with the restaurant’s Chinese offerings.Authentic and classic, Ivelle is on its way to becoming a timeless addition to the carefully crafted menu at Yauatcha Bangalore. Manufactured on Indian Solapuri soil, each sip of Ivelle transports you to a rustic villa in the mountains. The resurgence of wine enthusiasts in the country has led to the creation of the first-ever private wine label to have been produced in India.

Presented after eight months of trials, Ivelle will now be served at Yauatcha’s Bengaluru outlet. “While profiling the flavours for Ivelle, we understood the similarities shared between the Indian and Chinese palettes. We wanted the wine to not only compliment our offerings at Yauatcha but also cater to Indian taste preferences. The Müller Thurgau grape, originally bred in Germany by Hermann Müller, is a cross of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, while the Gewürztraminer is more aromatic, creating the perfect balance.

Yauatcha has been known for its vast wine selection that goes beyond rice wine and sake and Ivelle is arguably the first private wine label created by a restaurant that will be available for purchase at the dining establishments. The wine will be served at Yauatcha Bengaluru from the 6th of December. Price: INR 950 per glass and bottle price INR 4500.
