Zambar brings new flavorsome coastal delights

Old is gold, but new is good too! Inspired by the traditional lanes of culinary rich South India, Zambar has launched a delectable menu with new flavours. Located in Gurgaon, the ambience at Zambar is experiential and promises to show the different facets of Southern India through scrumptious delicacies and dynamic décor.

Curated by Head Chef Vetri Murugan, the new menu is exhaustive going far beyond the staple offering of sambar, dosa, vada and idli. One can begin the coastal food safari withchickpeas & Millet Salad, Sprouted Lentil Koshimbir Salad and country style chicken soup. Dive into delectable appetizers such as the Malbari Baby Potato, Bombay Vada Pao Sliders, Corn Cheese & Curry Leaf Tikki, Crisp Koliwada Prawns, Kozhi Pathiri, VazaPhoo cutlet and many more.

Relish a range of delicious curries from diverse regions of Southern India like Pineapple Curry, Onion Garlic Curry, Andhara Fish Curry and Nadan Curry. These main course dishes can be best enjoyed with lemon, tomato and coconut flavored rice, biryani and flaky Malabar Parotta. One cannot miss trying the appam bar which offers eight types of appams including mutli grain appam and chilli cheese appam.

Pair your meal with refreshing summer drinks such as buttermilk, tender coconut water or a cup of traditional Kaapi (filter coffee). Any meal is incomplete without desserts. Experience the bliss with sweet churut appam, payasam, coconut jaggery pudding and fresh fruit natural ice cream.

For kids, Zambar has curated a fascinating menu. With dishes named after popular cartoon and superhero characters such as Bruce Lee, Tom & Jerry, Chota Bheem and Superman, the restaurant has recreated few South Indian delicacies with an interesting twist. Crafted with love and care, the kid’s menu comprises of mouthwatering plates of Idli, Dosa, Appam and many more.
