Zomato works with Feeding India to serve one lakh meals in a day

Bengaluru, February 27, 2019: After an incredible set of shows in Delhi & Pune, India’s grandest carnival, Zomaland, is coming to Bengaluru on 1-3 March at White Orchid Convention Center. The three-day event will bring together popular eateries across the city, a stellar line-up of music artists, top comedians, a giant Ferris wheel, and exciting carnival games — all under one roof.

With food for every palate, music for every ear, and games for all ages, Zomaland promises an enjoyable experience for one and all. It will showcase an incredible line-up of entertainment with 2 stages - Zomato Live Arena and Theatre Bizarre - hosting performances by some of the biggest artists in the industry including, international sensation - Jay Sean, the original Gully Boy - Divine, India’s youth icon - Ritviz, popular indie-band - When Chai Met Toast, renowned Hindi rock band - The Local Train, and popular stand-up comics like Varun Thakur and Rohan Joshi.

Speaking about Zomaland, Chaitanya Mathur, Global Head, Zomato Live, said, “It is a three-day carnival celebrating food. We’ve analysed a decade worth of data, as well as user feedback from our previous two events to understand user preferences and enhance the experience for everyone in Bengaluru. This will be the first entertainment event with back-to-back performances, cuisine-based food zones, and larger than life attractions, across all days.”

Along with the sway-worthy performances and the laughter fest, Zomaland will bring to life Zomato Food Collections with over 60 eateries curated into five different zones-- Flavours of India, Oriental Trail, American Avenue, European Eateries, and Dessert District. Catering to different palates, these zones will feature restaurants such as Via Milano, Fish Chain, The Wok Shop, Thai Chy, Indiana Burgers, Aubree, Biggies Burger, Delhi Highway, AB’s Absolute Barbecues, Apsara Ice-cream, The Waffle Press and Artinci.
