Roses are red; Violets are blue; every-time you order food, you get some back too!

New Delhi, July 20th, 2018: Zomato Piggybank crossed over 200,000 member sign-ups within 48 hours of its launch to a contained set of users on the iOS and Android platforms. This is 6X more than the early traction for Zomato’s premium dine-out membership program Zomato Gold in the first 48 hours.

What is Zomato Piggybank? Once you opt-in (or later on subscribe for Zomato Piggybank) every time you order food online on Zomato at any restaurant, 10% of your order value will be credited back as Z Coins into your Zomato Piggybank. That’s right – that’s 10% earned on every single completed order! Using these points, you can pay 10% of the value of the next order you place at a wide selection of exclusive top-rated restaurant partners. You even earn Z Coins in your Piggybank when you use Piggybank coins in a particular order.

And this offer is valid along with any other offers running on Zomato. Any restaurant funded discounts will continue to be available on Zomato Delivery.

Also, every time you order food using Zomato Piggybank, Zomato will donate ₹1 on your behalf to Akshaya Patra Foundation, world’s largest NGO running mid-day meal programs for children. One rupee per order is a lot – if all orders at Zomato were placed using Piggybank points, the company would be donating ₹1.25 crore a month on behalf of its users to the Foundation. This can positively affect the lives of millions of children in India.

Deepinder Goyal, Founder & CEO of Zomato said, “We continue to innovate and build products to delight our users. The success of Piggybank after the massive success of Zomato Gold is very heartening, and we thank all our users for their love and loyalty.”

Zomato turned 10 recently and carried a massive food drive across 30 cities last week, where the company, with help from Sequoia Capital and Robin Hood Army, donated over 250,000 meals and spread millions of smiles to the homeless and underprivileged.

Globally, Zomato is present in 24 countries and serves more than 50 million users every month. Every month, over 19 million users in India use Zomato to make informed food choices. Zomato also seats more than a million diners through its table reservations platform. Zomato’s advertising business is growing rapidly across the 9 core regions of its presence and currently contributes to ~40% of the companies revenues.
