Executive Chefs from The Lalit properties across India are traveling to different regions to give guests a sample of authentic cuisines from their respective region. A potpourri of flavors and spices, Goan cuisine prominently features delicious curries and an endless array of seafood.

The Executive Chef of The Lalit Golf and Spa Resort Goa, Chef Tanmoy Majumder is curating a delectable experience for guests at The Lalit Mumbai, from July 21 to 31, 2018. Goan cuisine is a cornucopia of ingredients and flavors, influenced by different origins and cultures over the centuries.

Chef Majumder boasts of food experience and experiments of over two decades. He is particularly fond of Goan food and has crafted unique culinary experiences for guests at the Goa property. “Like the city of its origin, the Goan cuisine has the ability to ebb a bad mood to delight for anyone sampling it. Over the years, I have experimented with local flavors and used indigenous spices to create some memorable Goan recipes,” he said.

This exotic menu is going to feature some of the most prominent Goan preparations. Goa’s staple Prawn Curry is ready to make an appearance, and so are Shrimp Balchao, Mutton

Vindaloo, vegetable khatkhate, and Chicken Xacuti. Goa’s extremely popular coconut infused sweet, Bebinca, is making its way to the tables as well.
